my current event was about how this Christmas is not going it be a jolly Christmas. Why do you ask that question because people are trying t buy their bills and mortgage rates are going up and there is no money for Christmas shopping. And I truly agree with them. The amount of money people are paying for their house payment and their car note and OH my goodness gas the prices doesn't make any senses . Even though I'm still a kid I had to get my brother and mother and grandmother an gift and they are not cheap. So do I agree with them when they say that the cost of living is expensive.

Today on the news they was talking about that how people are spending their Christmas this year and some of the stories are sad because they want their families gifts but they can not afford it. that why I take a time out and don't pout about how i can't get everything I wanted on my list when there some people who get anything on their list. so sometimes you just have to be thankful what you have because there is someone in this world d who doesn't have the thing s that we take for granted for. so just shut up and be DAMN THANKFUL for what we have.

My article on CNN website it was a very interesting story. It mainly talk about Presidental Candiadte Borack Obama and the queen of talk host Oprah Whinfey and she really u oner thirty thousand people whi would like Obama to win the election and from what I read. Some people think that they mainly came and see Ms. Oprah. And pesonally I think that the two maim peopple that are going to compete is Sen.H. Clintion and Sen. B Obama.

I also really think that if Sen. B Obama does'nt win the persidental race that H. Clintion is going to pick Sen. Obama as her vice persident so no matter what Sen.Obama is going to make history being the first balck president in the White House. I really think that he is a very great president canidate.

I was most disappointed when I was in the six grade and my father told me that I was going to met my two little sister. I remember when I was so excited that I have teo little sister and I was telling everyone that I have sister. It was a big thing to me because I was always the littlest person in the house. so when that day had came I woke early in the morning eating my breakfast and putting in my clothes.And waiting for my daddy in the living room. And my father told me that ti be ready at nine o clock . So nine o clock had came it still my father didn't show up then ten o clock then so in and so on. I remember that everytime a car had show in the driveway I thought that it was him.

once I realize that my father is not coming I was so disappointed in him that I was crying and crying for my father. So my mother told me to call my father and ask him why my father stood me up. He told me that he forgot and he had to work and he was sorry.So what I did was said that I love you and talk to you later.

I never heard and or ever seen a ghost I don't believe in ghost and all that crap. But I recall a time when I was a little girl and my grandmother had just past away. The funeral was the next day which was that saturday. So anyways I went to get my hair done. So I went to go get my hair done and while I was getting my hair done I went into the bathroom. And the bathroom was dark and I was already scared because mjy grandmother had just died. So I counted to three and ran into the bathroom. Then the lady who was doing my hair and she ask me why was I running and I said that "oh nothing for no reason".

So I got my hair done and I went home so when to go tho sleep I was scared because I thought that my grandmother was watching me. What is so funny is that

If I could go anywhere in the world it would be alot of places. First it will be to the U.S. Virgin Island St. Croix.That's where my father was born. As of today my father never told me who was my grandparents were. And I think that if I go to the Virgin Island I would find my family that I never got a chance to see. Sometimes it hurt that my father doesn't tell me where my grand parents are or what there are. For what I know is that I don't know that if there are living or dying. I really want to know where are my roots are from. At times I feel like who I'm I where do i come from. Just recently I found out that my great grandmother come from the Indian tribe Black Foot tribe and that right there seems very cool. And the reason why I see that that is rally cool because when they came from India and they arrive to the America the only way they was identified where by their feet because they can from the water and the glaciers that their foot were black because of the ice so theri feet turn black that why they were called the black foot tribe. Now when it comes from my father sude of the famliy I would'nt know where the hell i come from so that's why i say that if I could go anywhere in the world it would be the U.S. Virgin Island.

I agree with her in one hundred percent. There only two race in this world which that is white and black. There are some Hispanics that are white and and black. But before I had a talk with my anguish teacher he told me that there is only one race in this world. It had all started in third period we had this talk about should American should have a national language in my opinion I that we should have a national language. So when someone is calling a Hispanic a race then they are absolutely wrong. I could understand that if a person would describe a person if the they were a Hispanic man because he spoke in a Spanish accent but if a person just said that Hispanic just for heck then that is wrong I don't care who ever it is.



Today in my English class my teacher tole me that it all stared yesterday in his car and he was saying that it was on the radio show was saying that it happen in the state of Arizona and a young girl had got rape. When she went to the police to give a descriptive to the police. She said that it was a Hispanic man and heavy set kind of a guy. Now it was up to the plaice to do the correction but no the didn't do that. In this world there is only five race which that is Black, White, Native, Asian, Indian. That's it you can't set a Hispanic person to one race.

If you and your best friend could have a free limo for 24 hours, where would you go and what would you do? Describe in detail what you would do.

If me and my best friend can have a limo for a day we would party off are asses off.I remember a time last year and it was homecoming and me and my friends had rented a limo for homecoming. so while we are in then limo clowing around acting like a brunch of air heads. so while we are in the limo with are heads out of the windows on top of the limo taking pictures and enjoying the life of luxury in the fast lane. so when we got to homecoming we are already hip from the limo ride all joking and laughing acting like we was drunk. So after homecoming was over I'm thinking that we are going home and go to sleep. But no we didn't. one of my friend Tiffany she was a senior last year so she wanted to go out and have fun in the limo. So she told the limo driver to,take us to South Beach. At first I was against it becausei did'nt tell y mother that we was going to South Beach.Then, I called her and told then she was like okay just be safe. So we went to the beach put our feet in the water and took pictures. So that it what I said if me and my friends had a limo for a day what would we do.

Wow I can't believe that I'm telling you this but I just got to get it off my chest, I really dint care what your reaction is going to be about but I'm just going to say it okay "I like you". Yesterday when you walk me home and we started to share things that I wouldn't share with anyone else. If I could go on a television show I would like to go on the Oprah Whinfrey Show. In my opinion her show is so educational to a young girl. Also why I could like to go on her show is because where she comes from and she at now the is very brave ans talented. Plus, her guest on her show are people that makes a difference. I recalled a time when Oprah had a show and one of her guest was Barack Obama wow that man is so handsome well that was before is was he announce is run for presidency he was talking about his family and where he grew up and being a biracial man coming up in the world. And the way he was admiring his wife and children that was so fascinating. Or when Oprah has women in power in the political office as her guest speakers that is very admiring to me. Or even when she reach out in the community also she recently build a school in Africa made just for girls .

If I was given one skill or ability I would like to have the talented of seeing in the future just like " That's so Raven" on Disney channel. She is so cool. she always think that something is going to happen when she sees the little vision from the future. I can recall a time when I was watching a episode ans it was about Raven finding a date for the prom at the time she has broken up wit her boyfriend Javon because he had to move to another city so the broken up. well anyways she was looking for a date she was asking every boy to the prom and when she was about to ask a boy that when she had a vision of a date fir the prom. But the only thing that was stooping her was she only seen the boy back of the head. So when the week was going though she still haven't seen the vision that she had. So that's when she was on her way to the prom and it was Eddie and Chelsy had their dates and Raven din't have date. So they went to the prom an being Raven that she is was still looking for her date. So as they was going toi the prom Raven ask the limo driver to stop so she can look for her date. But ther ewas a problem with that. She got struck in the limo in the sun roof. Then it stared to rain. So now she dress got and hair got all wet. Then her night and shinng amor came to her recuse. An and it was the by in her vision. After she got out of the limo and that the my story.

I would say the most exciting thing that ever happen to me was when it was my best friend birthday y and we went to CB Smith park is was so much FUN!!!!!!!!!! It wasn't alot of people which I think that made it fun. But anyways it was me my beat Phylicia, Joi, and Imani ,and Tasha,Brandon, and bog head Jordan. But yeah we was at the park so we was just chillin and it was HOT! At first was throwing water balloons at each other running around and just having fun like that old days,because we was so involved in sports and other things thought high school. So when it was time to eat we sitting down and we trying to act mature, but there is always Brandon and Jordan trying to be funny. so act first the was throwing food at each other. then next thing you know that we was throwing food at each other. In then back of my mind I was saying that we shouldn't be throwing food around. But I was like what the hell with it.

So while we throwing food at each other I was looking at my friends and said to myself that this was a wonderful time that i'm having and we should do this more offend. But that not the end of the story, the park was closing down so we decided that we should go to her house and we did at first I was beat from early from that day. Then we got all dress up and went to the movies on Main Street. Being with Brandon and Jordan we always get into trouble with somebody but it was always fun. So what they did was during the movie they started throwing M & M's at people at first they was like what ever then they made a mistake and hit this big guy. He was huge!!!!!!!!!!! Te guy got up walk to our section where we was then we was trying to act like we was watching the movie but Brandon had this big smile and his face so the guy grab him by the collar and stared fussing at Brandon the next thing you know that we was kick out the movies. But the night didn't ended there that another story to tell. :)

To tell you the truth I can't remember a belief that I can I discarded. I can tell you a story that my brother said that he don't believe in God anymore. I can recall a time when I ask him that what made you decide that and he told me that all this recall on this finding Jesus and saying that it confuse him. So I told him that he didn't really believe in him that much hat he didn't have faith i him at all. When he came out the closet and told our grandma!. When I tell you that she hit the roof. She stared to pray all around the house. And started calling the Lord in praying. It was a big mess going arund the house. Because my grandma is very old fashion and when she was going up you woulnd'nt hear an anything going on like this going back in the day. My grandma is 82 years old so you would think about it.



Now a year later my grandma had accepted that my brother doesn't believe in God but sometimes she try to put the faith on him but my brother refuse to hear what my grandma tries to do

My jobs at home are plain and simple. Here are Bria Beatrice Tinsley chores and jobs...

1.) Before I go anywhere I have to make sure that my room is clean and everything is put away.

2.) Just before I leave to go anywhere I have to make sure that everything in the living room is put away.

3.) If I use anything in the kichen such as a dish I make sure that everyhting is put away, so when I come late and I'm tired I don't have to do dishes.

Now that I'm at work I'm a cashier at Publix my job there is very simple. Here it goes...

1.) The main purpose there is mainly is to count money, and ake sure that the customer was happy while shopping at Publix, also made sure that the customer have everything that they came for.

2.) But there is other things that the job require which that if a person need something that tey can't find and it's not in display then I will go back in the store and ask the manger if we have what the customer want and if we don' t have then we would make a speical orders for that customer so yeah that not hard at all.

The Holiday that my family celebrate is Christmas. Some people think that Christmas is all about getting gifts from people.But that is not the purpose of the holiday. It all began When Mary and Joseph. Well anyways God had sent an angel to Mary and told her that God will make it able to give Mary a child. So when Mary got pregnant with Jesus which was God son. Joseph thought that Mary had cheated in him because back in those days it was not allowed for a women to get pregnant before she get married. Well anyways Joseph was vet upset that Mary was carrying another man child because he didn't believe Mary story. So one night Joseph sleeping and the same angel that told Mary about Gods plan of giving Mary a son. After Joseph seen the angel he now believe that it was God doing. So that when Joseph got Mary pack up their things and stared moving toward the north star. One night Mary gave birth to a little boy in a little shack. Thing that when the present began to form all about.

Christmas is all about giving and not receiving. My family celebrate Christmas like we all get together at my grandmother house and we exchange gifts. Then we all get around laugh joke eat drink and just have a ball with the family. Oh let me tell you about dinner my mom cooks this big ham well soul food and we all eat together as a famliy . All the kids are in the back yard the aldults are in the yard together looking after the kids drinking having fun just enjoyying themselves.

I remember a time when i was brave was when i was in New Jersey. I was in the water park with my uncle girlfriend. Well anyways we were at the rock climbing area. i saw a little girl who was standing on a cliff. So i said to myself why is this girl standing on the cliff by herself so we kept going going then the next thing i know was this little girl about to fall on the ground. So i ran as fast as I can ansd as soon this girl was about to hit the floor i save her.

The little girl at first was a little scared because of the fall. Then the next thing you know that the little girl mother was calling her name and she anwser her mother. My conclusion the girl got lost and her mother was looking so when her mother ask me where di diI found her little girl so I told her what had happen then she offered me so money man ow i regret that i didnt take the 100 dollars.I was trying to do the right thing.

I can remember a time when i was dishonest i was in the ninth grade and i had a boyfriend.His named was George. Wella anyways it was after school and my mom told me to come home after school. Dont stop anywhere else. So being me i didnt listen to her because i wanted to hang with my boyfriend. I told him that my mother wanted me home early today. He said why what did i do? i was like i dont know why she wanted mr home early. So then we both like she wouldnt know that i came home late. So first we went to the park to hang out with our friends. Then we drifted off some place. Next thing i know that we are at payless looking at shoes. Then, next thing we know it was almost four o'clock. I remember saying "oh my gosh my mom is goning to kill me. So i tired to leave him so i cpuld get my behind home. he was being sweet so he walk me home.

When i got home my mom was calling me so i went to answer the phone. And my mother was like whyni didnt anwser the phone. She was yelling at me. So i made up this lie and said that i was sleepping and i didnt anwser the phone. Then when she got home all lovely. when i tell you that i felt so bad that i leid to my mother where i ws and it was with a boy. So from that day on i told myself never again im going to lie to my mother about my whereabouts with a boy

In my opinion role models are not old fashion. my role model is my cousin from what i can tell she is no where old fashion. she is sweet funny and not all super heros is like that. The number one reason why my cousin is mt super hero is that what she went thought to become a RN at Jacjon Hospital. she cae from the hood. From both parents being on the dope. When both parents didnt see her off when she went prom homecoming. I can recall a time when she was telling me how she came in the world how when her mother would do dope right in front of her and when she wouls confront her mother about it she would just completly denine that she was doing it.

Right now im going though the same thing right now but not as serve as her. when sometimes my mom would leave home and cme home and be drunk sometimes i would cry myself to sleep and ask God why he did that to me. And it will be times when i would call my cousin and explain things what im going though and she would tell me just pray and God would come though for me. I think in my opinion that is true. People are happy basic and their focus. For example base on my happiness is base on my goals. base on how i i feel is base on the mood that im in also why not people are not base on their happiness that doent make any sense. If i person is base on their happiness because of threir goals why not i think that a person should be happy ut also if they have a goal then they should be happy but not to happy because that they are gominhg to lose focus on their gaols. just like me right now im happy well what you call content with myself but right now i think that im going to be more happy when i graduate. so yes i think that the promt is true. Peolpel can be ahppy grom many other things. Sometimes i base my happiness on tghe way im feeling.

The last hoilday vacation i took that was special i took was when i was last summer vacation. Me and my famliy went to Thomasville, Geogria. we had so much fun. My family in Miami are totally different when it comes down the living enviorment. Mt famliy in miami they are so stuck up. But my famliy in Thomasville they are so well rounded. the dont care what people think of them.When saw what a difference i came to relized that wow we cant be like that. I remember when we was at my great aunt house and my cousin wanted to drive my uncle truck. so my uncle said yes so everybody gathered in the yard. reminded you that my cousin is only 10 years , so when they got into the truck that my cousin press the gas. when i tell you that the truck jerk my uncle almost had a heart attack boy was that funny.

Another reason why i wouldnt trade another vacation my family alone dont spend much time with each so when we do spin time with each other it is a priceless time with each .

My form of art is listening to music. To me music is everything to me. It get me in the mood for whatever it is.Sometimes when im inthe blues mood i would listen to Heather Heady. it is this one song that it eould be my favorite for the rest of my life "in my mind". And this song came out when i was going though something. And the song was talkingabout in her mind she will always be his lady. i guess they had a relationship and it didnt go well and he wenton to another ralationship. One one day he saw her onthe street. And she was thinking that in her mind she will always be hus lady. and when that song came out that i was feeling. Also how i expresses myself in music is people like Angie Stone she is my girl.

Ange Stone is my girl because her music is so true. you really related to her songs. its like when you are going though saomething and you feel like no one can really relate to you and when you hear a song that saying or singing how you feel you fell like you are not the only one going though what yo u going though. And that why i say that music is the art that potray me. you know that sometimes i listen to hip hop but not all hip hop sometimes i feel like they are just talking aor rapping nonsense. i Think that people just dont know music

If could have gone back in i would have change alot of things. But the three most things i would have change is change the relationship between me and my father. The second thing i would have change is my relationship between me and my former best gut friend. The thrid thing i would have change is the way i did in my tenth year.
First if i could have gone back in time and change is my relationship between my father and myself. I think that is major toll on my life. its like i love my father its just sometime i wonder do he love me. i dont think that i do something to him to that he do call me or come and see. and right now he is missimg alot if vauluable time with it like in one year ill be going to college i dont wantbnbim missing any important things in my life.
Second if i could have gone back in time and change is relationship with my former beast gut friend. its like i dont know what happen to our friendship. i really miss him but im not going to be the one to say sorry. i known him since the fifth grade we been through so much with each other and for us just throw it away like that just get me very upset. but anyways its meant to be then God would brings us back together.
Third if i could go back in time and cahnge somethings i would change how i perform in my tenth grade. did so poorly. my mom had to pull some teeth for me to do what im suppose to be doing.

Tell you the truth i was so active. i was in on the track team, tennis, and volleyball. if i ever considered to think about the eleventh grade i was like wow im almost there. and thinking about since my mom is so mean on everything that i could go out to party. Have alot of friends and have an car. go out everywhere i wanted. on yah back in the sixth grade we had this this thing with my sixth grade teacher about the university of florida and university. and evertime the two teams wpould play aganist each other we have this little debate between onthe two teams i could have assumed that i was going to the university of maimi. but you know what my two tops college are university of florida and florida state university..

But right now my whole way of thinking has change competely now im not only thinking of myself but also my present and future. my actions has change. my way of thinking my speech my my whole body has chage from five years ago. now im more determine and level headed. like i really want to be something in life. i want to proof that i am somebody, thst i am a smart girl that my mom didnt raise a dummy. i want to be the only child out of my brothers and sisters to attend to college and actually finish not drop out. and right now i can see myself in five years is in my senior year at UF or FSU

As we approach the halfway point in the first 9 weeks, which do you feel is the most demanding of all your classes? Are you finding it difficult to find your footing in school this year? Being in the eleventh grade it had changed. Now it like my make it or fail it year. I really want to attend college but im doubting myself lately. For example this year i have three honors classes. It is becomong really demanding with homework, classwork, and me passing the reading fcat. sometimes its like is it happening to me. so far i think im doing good btu in this one particular class i think that im having a hard time with. thats is american history honors. dont get me wrong i like my history its that sometimes i get confused with the work. Also i get scared to ask my question about the assignments that i get left in the dark.

Another reason that im having troble getting my foot in the dooris that im in extracirricular activies. Im in cheerleading and in the tennis team. The reason why im dong this activies is that my mom dont have any money to pay for college and gettin into an honors class really helps me out in to college they see that i take serious in my school work it just that im just having a hard time putting my foot in the door to continue on the right track. i just got to toughen up my skion and work my ass off.

The biggest fear in life is snakes. WHY? Because they remain e of the devil. i remember a time when i was at vhurch a we was discussing about the devil. i recall my sunday school teacher telling me that snakes was about of the devil, and snakes use to have legs. when she told me that snakes use to walk and that God put an curse on them to never walk again. I wa so afraid of that dream that i was scared to get out of bed. and i remember that i counted to 10 to run to my mommy's bed to wake her up . i told her about my dream, and she told me what that mean when you dreams about sneaks. that means that something bad is going to happen. which something did happen , my 3 months old niece pass away i her sleep.

The most american thing i did inmy life was one day i was work and this old lady came into the store with blood on her head. and i ask her miss are you okay she said no. then she told me waht happen and she said that she was sitting at the bus stop waiting on the bus, and a rock had hit on the head. then i took he to the customer service. then they call the fire recuse so she can get check out. later on that day i went home with the biggest smole on my face and my mom ask me what happen at work and i told her what happen. she was so proud of me that she all of her friends.

Later when i went to workthat week my boss call me into his office and told me that was very nice i did for that lady who was sitting on the bus stop. he guive me a lecture. rthen gave my an dollar raise i was so excited that i call my mommy and told her the good news. that was the most american thing i did in my life.
